Chapter 22. The Scenario of Ego

Ego is one of the mental defilements.  Normally, people who experience more success in their life or in a specific matter are more likely to have stronger ego which coexists with confidence and self-centeredness.  On the contrary, people who experience more failure are likely to have less ego and self confidence.

According to our graph, ego is positive and rises along confidence and success whilst it becomes negative along unconfidence and failure.
