The Important Lords
in Our Existence

[1] The earliest being of the Existence is the ‘Lord
of Origin.’ He is the one who gave rise
to descending elements and essences namely the wholesome, the unwholesome, and
the neither wholesome nor unwholesome.
However, the Lord of Origin did not do this intentionally, as it
happened by chance. In addition, the
Lord of Origin did not control over all of the evolution of elements and
essences. We can compare this phenomena to
parents who gave birth to children, but the parents do not raise the children. Thus, the children struggle to survive and
grow up by themselves without the parents’ care. After they grow up, they fight each other due
to the conflict of interest over the Existence.
[2] The Lords of Foremost Elements & Essences
are the predecessors of each lineage of elements & essences namely the
wholesome, the unwholesome, and the neither wholesome nor unwholesome. They were given rise by the Lord of
Origin. But they are not Lord Buddhas
like the ‘Primordial Buddha’ who was the first in the Existence to attain
enlightenment and establish Buddhism.
However, the Holy Lord of Foremost Elements & Essences, sometimes,
do reincarnate as a Buddha. The Holy
Lord of Foremost Elements & Essences carries on the mission to secure the
Existence against the intervention, invasion, and manipulation by the Evil Lord
of Foremost Elements & Essence.
[3] The Lord Primordial Buddha is the first lord
Buddha ever since. But, normally, he
does not preside over the ‘Nirvana Assembly.’
When the Lord Primordial Buddha, occasionally, presides over the Nirvana
Assembly, the Assembly has to arrange or accommodate the seat for him. We can compare this to the sangha gathering
at a Dhamma hall, they had to welcome the Lord Buddha who visited and
participated their gathering.
[4] To compare and contrast, the Lord
Primordial Buddha is like the president of the Nirvana whereas the Chief
Lord of Nirvana is the prime minister.
The Lords of Foremost Elements & Essences are the ones who
established the nations. And the Lord
of Origin is the parent of the Lords of Foremost Elements & Essences.
[5] The Lord Primordial Buddha is the first one
who established Buddhism in the Existence.
The Holy Lord of Foremost Elements & Essences came into being prior
to the Lord Primordial Buddha, but the Holy Lord of Foremost Elements &
Essences is not the Buddha who supervises Buddhism. He is like the ancestor who established a
nation where Buddhism can prosper.
However, the Lord Primordial Buddha’s seniority or the age of elements
(ayu-dhatu) is quite close behind that of the Holy Lord of Foremost Elements
& Essences when we consider the time when he first came into life until he
started to pursue perfections and attained enlightenment to become the first
Lord Buddha with seniority of the age of essences (ayu-dhamma). However, the Holy Lord of Foremost Elements
& Essences is the one who established, created, and nourished the wholesome
elements & essences as well as the merit energy and wholesome essences,
which make it possible for the Lord Primordial Buddha and all other Buddhas to pursue
perfections and attain enlightenment.
[6] If one asks who is superior between the Holy
Lord of Foremost Elements & Essences and the Lord Primordial Buddha, the
answer is that each of them is superior in different aspects. The Lord Primordial Buddha is the origin of
Buddhism whose Buddha’s tradition has been passed on ever since. But the Lord Primordial Buddha, normally,
does not encounter the Evil Lord of Foremost Elements & Essences as well as
other evil mara(s) directly. We can
compare this to the Lord Buddha who has a temple in Kosala Kingdom. When there is an invasion from other Kingdom,
the King of Kosala is the one who is responsible for the war, not the
Buddha. Likewise, when there is an
invasion from the evil mara (mostly in the immaterial realm), the Holy Lord of
Foremost Elements & Essences is the one who is responsible for securing the
Nirvana and balancing the power in the Existence against the Evil Lord. For the material realm, the harms from the
Evil Lord are the regular recession of humans’ mind, birth, aging, disease, and
death.
[7] The Holy Lord of Foremost Elements &
Essences is the one who controls the production of merit energy and merit
energy crystallization or perfections, and vice versa for the Evil Lord. They confront, encounter, intervene,
manipulate, and battle each other with might, power, and superknowledge, until
they reach the settlement which gave rise to the program of karma, rules and regulations
over the pursuit of perfections, karmic rewards & punishment, requirements
for enlightenment, and the existence of realms and the Nirvana. Thus, the Holy Lord of Foremost Elements
& Essences is the senior-most in his Elements & Essences, and vice
versa for the Evil Lord. If one
questions if the Holy Lord of Foremost Elements & Essences is also a Lord
Buddha, we can say that he is if we take the quality of a Lord Buddha into
account, but the Holy Lord of Foremost Elements & Essences does not
supervise the religion directly.
[8] To compare
and contrast, when the Most Venerable Phramongkolthepmuni (Sodh Candasaro) did
the reincarnation on earth to carry on his mission as the avatar of the Holy
Lord of Foremost Elements & Essences, he became a disciple monk of the Lord
Gotama Buddha who obeyed the monastic disciplines regulated by the Lord Gotama
Buddha. The Most Venerable Sodh has no
right to govern Buddhism even though he is the avatar of the Holy Lord of
Foremost Elements & Essences.
[9] The Chief of Chakkavatti (Imperial Dhamma
Body) Realm is like the president of the Chakkavatti or we can say that he is
the imperial monarch of the imperial Dhamma bodies who are very mighty and
powerful. The members of the imperial
Dhamma body realm are the Buddha-Chakkavatti or the ‘Holy Imperial Buddhas’ and
‘Holy Imperial Lords.’ They are the
Lords of Imperial Dhamma who attained Buddhahood. The population of the imperial Dhamma body
realm is less than the regular Nirvana because the cultivation for this
achievement has more requirements and levels.
[10] The Chief Lord of Nirvana is like ‘the Buddha
of Buddhas and arahants.’ He is superb
in the Dhamma. If we compare them to a
business, the Lord Primordial Buddha is like the chairman, and the Chief Lord
of Nirvana is like the Chief Executive Officer or CEO. The Lord Primordial Buddha has two appearances
which are the Buddha appearance and the Chakkavatti appearance. With the Buddha appearance, the Lord
Primordial Buddha put on plain robes.
With the Chakkavatti appearance, the Lord Primordial Buddha put on
beautiful robes, adorned with ornaments, and crowned. His attires depend on the events, such as
presiding over the assembly of Buddhas or the assembly of Chakkavatti.
[11] If one
questions if the Lord of Origin is God or not, the answer is that we do not
conclude like that because the term ‘God’ has connotations in the sense of
being the creator of the Existence with topmost supremacy in governing and
controlling the Existence. However, the
Lord of Origin is the one who gave rise to the earliest elements &
essences, without the topmost supremacy and without full capability of
governing the Existence. The truth is
mostly different from the story about God in many religions who believe in
Theism. Our present Existence is not completely
the work of someone like God, but it is the outcome of encountering,
intervening, manipulating, battling, and settling, among the Holy Lord, the
Evil Lord, and the Neither Holy nor Evil Lord of Foremost Elements &
Essences, which gave rise to the law of karma, the various realms, and the
system that governs realms, humans and animals, as well as all other living and
non-living beings.

the Lord of Origin is H.H. the Dalai Lama
- The avatar
of the Holy Lord of Foremost Elements & Essences is the Most Venerable
Phramongkolthepmuni (Sodh Candasaro), Wat Paknam Temple in Bangkok, Thailand
- The avatar
of the Primordial Buddha is the Most Venerable Parn of Wat Bang Nom Kho Temple,
Ayudhaya Province, Thailand
There can be any other avatars which are either in
full or partial scale.
[12] If one questions why there has to be the distinguish
between the Buddha and Chakkavatti, as well as their different forms of being
plain and adorned, the answer is that the Lords of Foremost Elements &
Essences are the ones who organize these, beginning from their early
evolution. As they started to develop,
they make distinction among themselves in term of form and the functions that
are assigned to the form.
This
is like the difference between a police and a military. Both have duties in securing, but they are
differentiated in their domain of duties and responsibilities, and their
uniforms are different in order to make it possible for people as well as the
polices and militaries to distinguish among themselves. If a military does not put on his uniform and
decorate his insignias, it will be hard for others to recognize him.
The
Lords of Foremost Elements & Essences distinguish among themselves with
being a Buddha or Chakkavatti. In
details, there are the Lord of Foremost Element, the Lord of Foremost Essence,
and the Lord of Foremost Chakkavatti, depending on the topmost being of each ‘clan’
to make arrangement. This is similar to
countries with different governing system.
Some country has president and prime minister, some country has monarch
and prime minister. As such, the trait
is maintained from the topmost beings who keep their lineages from the earliest
existency until the present.
